We compare growth rates (γ) from linear GK calculations with kinetic electrons against estimates (Λ) for upper bounds with bounced-averaged electrons,  for the following configurations:
                                                                            • SQuID-X   • Nautilus   • W7-X hm
The flux tube calculations are performed at s=0.5 (α=0), using: a/LTi=3, a/LTe=0, and a/Ln=0.
