Purpose of this website is to provide information about the theoretical investigation of micro-turbulence in 3D magnetic fusion configurations. The project involves large scale numerical simulations of gyrokinetic turbulence, using the nonlinear gyrokinetic solvers GENE and stella, as well as the optimization of the magnetic field geometry for turbulence mitigation, by employing the STELLOPT code. Other topics of interest include transport modeling and turbulence statistics for stellarators, in collaboration with several universities and research institutes worldwide.
